The new dates announcement is so good to hear! I saw March in South America, but maybe also Australia. Lots hope the whole world gets lots of live Gizz in 2024…and it all gets recorded!

Maybe I’m pedantic about these things, but Stu didn’t actually say he was neurodivergent, just that he is ‘whack in the head’ and that neurodivergence is a superpower.
I also doubt there is an Australia tour in March, Stu said they’d like to do one ‘sneaky’ (small, unannounced?) regional show, which they often do on the way out to big international tours. Otherwise he explained how they just don’t really know how to tour Australia anymore. Could be wishful thinking, but I reckon they’d sell better outside of capital cities than they seem to think.

IDK, just sharing what others said elsewhere for the sake of conversation.
I suspect Gizzard will be appearing at all three South American Lollapalooza festivals, although Argentina wasn’t name checked in the recent AMA, just Brazil & Chile.

Albuquerque is Nov 10, 2024. That contract was signed the week before the AMA. Usually when bands finally sign venue contacts the tour announcement isn’t far behind.
Could be them?

Halloween Reddit AMA summary:
-More Cavs solo material is planned, new Pipe-Eye is in the works potentially to be released in 2024, more Bullant is in the works, and Ambrose is working on a collaborative album with GUM.
-The Silver Cord is intended to be played live, which songs will depend on rehearsal and the band are going to jam them out to the extended versions.
-The band still want to practise more BF3K songs that could still end up being played live.
-A Jason Galea art book of some form will definitely happen in the future.
-Lucas has written one of the songs for October '23 recording sessions, it is not certain if he will sing on it.
-Performing in drag is intended to become an annual tradition.
-The band “for sure” will make another acoustic album.
-The Silver Cord glasses by Radio Eyewear will eventually be released.
-Gliese 710 is ‘on the list’ to figure out how to play live.
-A ‘small amount’ of behind the scenes footage from creating PDA and TSC may be released. The next project after TSC is being documented much more.
-A ‘sneaky’ regional show in Australia is ‘hopefully on the cards’ for March 2024.
-Chunky Shrapnel on Blu-ray is still happening, the project is just ‘cursed’.
