Iām amazed it hasnāt happened yet tbh
Would be a real monkeyās paw moment hoping all this time for live synth songs, and it eventually leads to their first runaway mainstream hit.
I wish them all the āsuccessā in the world, and for as many people to hear the music as possible. If anyone can handle it I think Stu can, but I would have to try to not to worry about things changing too much.
I refuse to gate-keep, but for this reason I also refuse to change my generic first album recommendation from IIYMF to Omnium Gatherum like so many others lol

Iām only inferring what a touchhead actually is, so I kind of assumed it was people only there to see the āTouch of Grey bandā?
The influx of Phans was definitely unexpected and has been strange at times, but I donāt think it has brought any general lack of appreciation for what Gizz truly is and has always been about. Makes me think of @Gizzhenge who wasnāt fully converted until seeing Mr Beat > Sea Of Trees.
Basically, yeah. Touch of Grey was their biggest commercial hit, including exposure on MTV, which led to a massive influx of both more casual fans and people who were just there for the party. They went from playing the type of places Gizz plays now to football stadiums almost overnight.

I was feeling it would be like an atmospheric mysterious alien sound, and Iād still be surprised if it was full techno vibes, but the comments in there + the album artwork definitely make it seem like it could almost be a new-wave thing. Hard not to imagine its the culmination of Cyboogie, Acarine, Made in Timeland and BF3K, but they have also been fairly insistent it doesnāt sound like anything theyāve done before.
Does he say techno? I see disco and kraftwerk.

Also I think we should be factoring in the CAVS said techno not Joey. I feel like Joey would be better to categorize, but wouldnāt want to spoil it and be lowkey. Cavs would probably be like itās techno because itās electronic and might not know how to describe it well enough. Perhapsā¦
I wish you are right and it is the yang from PDA and very metal, but I am afraid it would be more techno and synth. As far as I read in some interviews what the made at the same time were the lyrics, so probably they are related, but the type of sound of the album will be completely different.
Anyway, fingers crossed to get another gizz metal album before the end of the year, a man can dreamā¦

This album is definitely not going to be metal but it is going to be connected to PDA (in theme). Itās absolutely synth-y. I donāt even think itās a questionā¦ Pretty much confirmed here by Joey:
