This one is flying under the radar but King Gizzard have remixed the Confidence Man song “SICKO” for their upcoming remix album 5AM (LA LA LA). First remix from the band since Nothing Left To Hide in 2013.

Grow Wings and Fly is the 10th and final track on Phantom Island!! This is the song that was originally a jam that grew out of Shanghai (let’s get real high, etc.), then was performed as a more complete piece twice in November and indexed as its own track officially. Now we get it for real! I had a feeling GWAF would be on the orchestra album.
Exciting stuff! Seems like it actually won’t be released next week, but “officially announced”, which I take to mean when all of the pre-order options and release date will be shared.
Correct. Release date is NOT 4/15. Probably May or June.
I just listened to Phantom Island for the first time last night. Fuckin blown away! I might end up seeing the orchestra show in Colorado before FoV.

Ordered 2 LPs, one for me and one for my daughter’s birthday (a week before FoV)
I’m using the title track as music for a video documenting our fungal experiences throughout 2024. 
Damn… expensive record to get to Canada.
After shipping and conversions the options are:
~$78 CAD coming from US
~$83 CAD coming from EU
~$87 CAD coming from AUS
All have the risk of Duties/Tariffs as well, especially the US one… Plus the whole moral dilemma of sending tax dollars to a fascist state that is threatening to take us over…
I might have to wait and buy this one at a live show or a local store in June.
