My buddy invited me to their show in Seattle in 2022. I had only heard the name but hadnt listened to them.
We stopped by his art shop in Pike Place Market beforehand and he put on Infest the Rats’ Nest and i was like, woah.
At the show they opened with the microtonal stuff and i was like, wait is this the same band? I thought they were thrash metal?
And he wised me up that they do a shit load of stuff.
I mainly stuck to Infest…came across Petro later. Then another buddy of mine mentioned Omnium Gatherum is their best album. Loved that. And then proceeded to go through their entire catalog and caught the “super bug.”
