This just dropped...its so dope!

I don’t really listen to black midi but this album is really good! Holy, Holy reminds me of a mix between Todd Terje and Destroyer or something.

I just ordered this on vinyl, it’s fantastic! Like a mix of trippy Pink Floyd and Death Metal with a cool sci-fi concept. I’m sure my fellow metal gizz heads would enjoy!

If anyone is into ambient, put on some good headphones and give this one a listen.

Bummer on black midi hiatus, cool that we get a new release from Geordie green though!

One of my favorite bands after Gizz.

One of the best albums of this year, hands down. Probably Blood Incantations best work next to Starspawn.

Hell yeah! This is a great thread, both in general and because I told myself I need to listen to more “new” albums this year.

Found these French fellas on bandcamp. I don’t disagree with the Jazz Metal genre description.

Hell yeah these guys are dope

Favorite release from last week

BLOND:ISH - Never Walk Alone

Might be too poppy/dancey for some of y’all but I’ve been enjoying it, while shaking my booty at work

If y’all enjoyed the Pipe-Eye release last year, check out this other duo from Melbourne

I like that band. Stumbled across them just a bit ago, didn’t know they were about to release some new stuff. Great song.

Population II. This didn’t just release but I hope these dudes get more action. Sooo off the charts but I guess if it’s not in english there’s a wall for some folks but GODDAYUMMMM are they good :exploding_head:

Most recently though, there’s a band called Travo that keeps buzzing my ears…

For the big ITRN and Petro fans, this may trip your trigger. I’ve been waiting for this album for quite a while and it’s absolutely incredible; this song is my pick of the bunch.

Wolfgang Flür is an ex-member of the band Kraftwerk. So if you like Kraftwerk, you’ll most probably like this, too.

I got to see Population II open for Oh Sees, they absolutely killed it. Will be following their career with great interest.
