Using this thread incorrectly as these are potential future teases in current shows, but I’m 100% certain they are teasing a new song in 8/17 and 8/31 Slow Jam 1. At about 0:15 and 2:00 respectively on their bootleg recordings.
The Grow Wings and Fly jam in 8/27 Hot Water is also really striking to me as there are soooo many new lyrics. They are performed way too confidently and coherently to be improvised in the moment. With Rolling Stone mentioning they made an improvised techno album before this tour, I wonder if they went back and decided to work the jam into its own song. It’s made even more interesting to me by the fact that the only Shanghai on the tour didn’t feature the jam. Grow Wings and Fly has for the moment been divorced from Shanghai.

Robot stop from Red Rocks 2023 has extinction quotes
Listening to the 6/8/23 Late Show (Red Rocks) and “Straws In The Wind” has a “Muddy Water” riff in the intro that I don’t see listed on the site!
the main ‘hog calling contest’ riff appears at the very bitter end of ‘the bitter boogie’ from red rocks ‘22.
it’s not a tease. it’s just a little noodle of a riff during the outro, but i thought others might enjoy hearing it.

The 20/08/2023 Saint Malo show has an unlisted Witchcraft/Chang’e tease in Evil Death Roll. It’s the melody from the “Fire flickered and danced with hues” verse, in a way that sounds more Chang’e than Witchcraft I’d say.

Also I think the metal jam in Float along/fill your lungs in the same show should be listed as a Dragon jam, I think it is the riff from the “they eye dilates” section that we hear

Magenta mountain in the Caverns night 2 has an unlisted the Grim reaper tease (Grim reaper synths are already playing during the guitar solo). Also not a tease but Gaspard doesn’t show up on the guest apparences page despite being listed in the performers of Remlingers night 1 for his “Fusiiiiiiooooon nucléaiiiiiiiiiire”

Bump for new album!!
We are on the hunt for teases of Phantom Island songs in the concerts just before the album was released (13 June 2025)… we’ve found some already but there are probably more!

Hell’s Itch. Way overdue for a bust out- super curious why they’ve never played it live. Such killer tune. Feels good like that
A few things:
- my claim of a Dragon jam in Melbourne 2022-10-12 is an error, upon relisten it’s a Motor Spirit jam
- There are unlisted Black market bargain quotes in Boogieman Sam of Athens 2025-06-04 and in the Ice V jam of King Stingray Yadaki set at FOV (also wouldn’t Nail me to the cross be a more obvious title given the lyrics we have now?)
- Should we count drums rythms specific to a song as teases? I’ve notice the Muddy Water and Bitter boogie rythms exchange are noted, but often I hear Iron lung or Hypertension drums and it’s not listed, is this something that should be reported as well or is it to vague? Also there were Ice V drums in the Nathan Hell’s Itch.
Also, not teases but:
- for some reason the map point of the Melbourne 2014-03-24 show is in Brazil
- Why is Isn’t she lovely in the song database but isn’t linked to any release, setlist or tease? Is something missing here?

The venue maps are a new thing, we’re aware of the issue but it’s a Songfish thing.
Isn’t She Lovely was marked as a tease somewhere (don’t remember which show) but the tease was removed upon further review, that’s why it’s in there.
Drum teases are possible but have to be extra obvious, otherwise it’s just too vague/open to interpretation to get into.
