FoV 2.0 August 14-16, 2026

Based on city council documents, looks like these are the dates!

Those dates should work for me! I think I’ll try to arrive in Colorado a few days early this time. I really want to explore.

I landed a couple days early, saw LCD Soundsystem at Red Rocks, then went to CO Springs and hiked around the Garden of the Gods (it’s amazing, put it on your list!), really got me in a great mindset for a weekend of Gizz!

Even just spending a couple days exploring Denver is worthwhile, it’s a very cool city!

Super excited to see what comes of this. Missed last year but feel like I can’t miss it this year.

Ooooof brutal weekend for me. The week leading up to is the first week of school here for my kids. The reason I couldnt attend this year. Damnit.

Will still try to make it happen, but it definitely eliminates making a bigger CO adventure out of it. Was hoping to get some biking and raft/kayak river adventure in.

Looks like those dates are just up for consideration for a permit for the County, as are another set of dates in September. So, until the County acts on these applications on 10/21, we won’t know if these dates are really approved or not. And these materials don’t seem to say which band goes with which dates (unless I missed something, which is possible).

Apparently the Sept 3-7 dates are for Pretty Lights, I heard there was some chatter over there about moving that back for next year, so the 12-17 August event is for FoV, also there are some associated event layouts with each application and the 12-17 plans clearly are the FoV layout (showing the Timeland stage, etc.).

But yes, we won’t get final confirmation until after this hearing, but as someone who works with city councils it’s likely to just be a yes or no, not a proposal for different dates.

Interesting to note they’re going for a multi-year permit, I wonder how many years they have in mind

100 at least

Any other 2026 rumors floating along?

The only thing I’ve heard is that they bumped their 2026 US dates to 2027, so it’s possible we just get FoV in the states, or perhaps they do just a few dates. Heard this through the grapevine from people who book venues they were going to play in 2026.

With this rumor floating around I’ve been anxiously awaiting an official announcement. Tour dates were released on 10/29 last year, right before the fall run started, so I’m hoping we hear something in the next few weeks.

Yeah, my backup plan if FoV was too complicated/expensive to pull off from the east coast was to go to 2-3 shows
over this way instead. So I hope there will be some east-coast shows!

Yeah definitely not what most of us want to hear regarding US dates. Thanks for reminding me about when last year was announced, feel like we got the '23 dates in early November of '22 as well.

Good intel. I think Buena Vista City Council has a meeting on 10/21 to approve the fests, so my guess would be in the week or two after that we’ll hear some updates on FoV/2026 Summer tour.

Canada is also a bit overdue, so maybe it’ll be Canada normal tour and FoV?

While the suspense continues on this – has anybody heard if any East Coast residencies/festivals (like The Caverns or another try for Bonnaroo) are possible for 2026?

I wouldn’t be shocked if they did a make-up residency at bonnaroo next year – they have a history of making up gigs that get cancelled. Took 'em like 3 attempts to play at Boston Calling but they eventually did. That said the haven’t really been rumors about another festival residency, and there are also rumors that forest hills might be the only non-FoV USA gigs next summer.

Fingers crossed they can at least do Forest Hills again, maybe they can do marathon shows if the city allows it.

This year was my first time there and it was a blast! Fantastic venue, and while I’ve been to NYC tons of times I’d never spent much time in Queens, it’s a great area. Me and my buddy went to Flushing and did a food tour… so much amazing Asian food there!

I am part of music festival discord that includes some of the decision makers for Bonnaroo

They just said today that there will be no Gizz residency this year.

What that means for the rest of 2026, might mean nothing, but it certainly would jive with the idea of a lean 2026 for the boys in the US.
