Did they get curfew’d there? They wrapped that up real quick after the metalish bit
hard curfew…
good heavens that was a solid opener!!! lil rusty, but a hell of a lot of fun!
Whaddup Filip. Turn around, show your shirt
Weird end to that.
hard curfew according to physical setlist
I said this when the South American tour started too but it’s always great to be back in a live show thread with all of yall
That said, what a show! First half is so much fun, Am I In Heaven through Fourth Colour is jam central. Second half dies down a little bit for me but it’s still really great. The Iron Lung → Hypertension > Work This Time is a great moment. Going with Fourth Colour as my favorite today. We’re in for a great tour!
Unreal show! What a way to open the tour
I think the zz topp lagrange tease might have been a “baby did a bad bad thing”- chris isaak tease
the la grange riff is so common in stuff but it originates there. also it followed joey doing a parody impression of la grange haha
They’re taking their jamming to a new level. Very excited to see how the year plays out.
I def heard, i think, amby do the “i feel like cryin!” Part tho, from the chris isaak song.
ill definitely be relistening and ill keey an ear out for that thankss :3
I feel like it was one of those things where amby (maybe joey) was throwing it on top of the la grange tease as like a tease within a tease…Im so pumped for the usa tour
Sick show. Definitely seemed like a hard curfew. They’ll get to those two songs soon.
So what did the synth setup look like? There was mention of Cook and Ambrose swapping places because of it, so it was different gear to last year?
They cut the synth part of Flamethrower but that could just as easily be for pacing.
Couldn’t really see on my phone. There didn’t appear to be anything in between Stu and Joey like last year though.
there was no big synth in the middle of the stage but im guessing its not a full tour thing
I skipped the streams today, so just hearing the archive recording now. What a great intro and Am I in Heaven?. Wonder if they teased some of their new 70s rock album in there?
