What is the deal with those “marathon concerts”? For the German punk band “Die Ärzte” that’s pretty much a normal set, they are usually around the 2:40h mark. Okay, they fool around quite a bit on stage, but that’s also a reason why you visit their concerts.
Gizz shows tend to be 1.5 to 2 hours long, straight through with no encore. So, these 3-hour shows are a marathon to them. Of course, there are plenty of bands out there playing that long each night without making it seem extraordinary, but this is the way Gizz does it.

Still not entirely out on the Phish Fest myself since it looks like I’ll only be catching Gizz on the November tour.

Got my Red Rocks tix! Just moved from Chicago to Denver so I’m sad about missing out on a marathon show, but excited to see another 3 show run (and get shows outside of Chicago for my stats here)
I also am not able to use the passcode for the LA show. Can someone please DM me the code. My son is a huge fan, and ai would like to take him to another show. The Hollywood Bowl show recently was awesome to go to with him!
