Songs you can't stop listening to

heard this on the radio the other day and it’s kinda a banger… neat chord changes
(rest of the album is a bit of a head-scratcher)

Late reply, but the entire GOAT levitation sessions has been top of my non-stop for a bit now. amazing stuff

Also keep coming back to the Viagra Boys set from Lowlands (feat some of our boys on side stage):

And the new album, In E, from Water Damage has been my on repeat at work. Perfect amount of fuzz for my busy brain to turn off and actually get some actual work done (while, whenever there isn’t a euro live stream  )…

A buddy turned me on to a Swiss band called Fomies yesterday. I think I’ll be listening to more of them!

I’ve been playing this music video over and over. There’s a lot to like about this song and video, but maybe the best part is the fantasy it invites that a middle-aged guy might possibly be able to keep up with Amy.

EDIT: Oh man and I just learned that the guy in the video is the actor who plays Trevor in Grand Theft Auto V…haha now that is amazing

I love that they had all three characters actually resemble their VAs. Really elevates this imagining its Trevor haha.

Fallen down the Steven Wilson/porcupine tree rabbit hole recently. A lot of similarities with king gizz. This one off his new album for some reason has ice,death/silver chord vibes

After paying $2 for his Mirror album at a garage sale this summer, I’ve been stuck on Emitt Rhodes. Amazing singer/songwriter who basically made this album all alone in the studio. According to Wikipedia, he’s been called “the one-man Beatles” and it’s clear why. Pop genius right here!

Grace Cummings KEXP just dropped and I can’t stop listening to the whole session. Ramona is my favorite.

Excited to listen to this one!

This is a silly one but I’ve had California by Phantom Planet stuck in my head for a few weeks. It feels so nostalgic.

She played Heaven and Romona as final 2 songs at the 3 UK shows i saw her open for Gizz. They were great performances! The voice reminds me a bit of Joni Mitchell in the 1980s and 90s after some heavy cocaine use and decades of smoking.

My old college roommate showed me this AI-generated video of a Chinese love song sung by Trump and Biden. I cannot stop listening to it.
