Someday, KGLW should _________ (a wishlist thread)

What would you love to see KGLW do in the future?

This thread is for random thoughts, musings, ideas, pipe dreams about what you’d love to see KGLW do in the future. Anything goes; serious thoughts, unserious thoughts, jokes, its all good.

I’d love to see them build out the Horology demo that appears on Demos 1+2 into a new arragement for the synth table.

The melody backed by that synth chord progression and arpeggios dancing over the melody is begging for the rave show treatment. They’ve basically already created the framework for some sick buildup→drops.

I’ll take it up a notch… full Polygondwanaland on the table would be insanely cool!

But who would clean up the mess of thousands of heads exploding simultaneously?

San Francisco residency @ BGCA.

I absolutely loved the Euro Residency model. I hope they keep doing it at really cool cities and unique venues.

Dalhalla in Sweden is currently my #1 bucket list venue, would be an epic run if they could do that someday!

I’d love them to do another folk album; they haven’t come back to that genre much in the way they have with other genres (metal, microtonal, electronic, prog, jazz rock) and Paper Mache Dream Balloon was amazing (it also has a very special place in my heart as it was my first Gizz album).

@KeepTheBeastAtBay totally agree.

I’d add a Cold Cadaver debut to the wishlist as well!

@kingcrowing that venue looks sick! Put Magma on the setlist for that one (though my inner geo-nerd notes that magma did not form those rocks; they’re sedimentary).

I’d like to see them return to South America at a time that I could attend one of the shows. The 2024 South American tour had such high intensity from the band and the crowds. Full shows instead of festival sets would be on the wishlist, too!

Do a full on Funk album!:smiling_face_with_sunglasses: We’ve gotten glimpses on Changes, and even in Amby’s side quest with Jay Watson in Gum, but nevera full on Funk album! That would disgustingly great! Definitely need a R& B/Funk horn section for the record though!:100::fire::musical_notes::smiling_face_with_sunglasses::sign_of_the_horns::trumpet::trumpet::trumpet:

I mean first and foremost, keep doing whatever they feel like doing. Second, I’m really thankful to be able to stream the live shows that I can’t attend. If possible, please keep the swarm feed alive!!
