I might be a bit late tonight so if the thread isn’t updating, you know why. Will try my hardest to be here though.

What are we expecting tonight? They did a lot of big name songs last year. Could be a microtonal heavy show.

I do hope they’re gonna play something off of 12BB or WB, I need to hear a Black Tooth live again

The wait is killing us!

I think we are gonna get a decent Nathan set. No nathan showed up (at least night 2 that I know of)

Hoping for some euro tour inspired Nathan rock crossovers.

Banana on stage fuck yes. Wasn’t expecting micro after so much last year but welcomed with open arms. Got an incredible spot today

Nathan also off stage.

I would expect them to stick to the stuff people know, considering this will be the only normal gig in the region for the year. On the other hand, I could see it being a “for the fans” show with a lot of rarities, since why not pamper everyone who’s coming for the non-orchestral show?

The cool thing about this band is that we won’t know till it happens. As always.

Also, have I been snoozing or?.. Since when did Cookie start playing a Yamaha Flying Samurai too? Backup for Stu’s blue one? That thing is getting worked, lol!

(I noticed it last night during the stream)

U.S. Girls are a vibe. Never heard them before now. Same thing happened with Geese last year and I came to really like them. And OF COURSE black midi in 2022…can you imagine being introduced to that band with a 953 opener from the stands of forest hills? Sugar/Tzu immediately blew my mind and they became one of my most listened to bands of 2023

Looks like they are testing Nathan out during US Girls

Feeling a Nathan heavy set, they did a decent cover of micro last year, so they might go somewhat light on that (I’m still hoping for Supreme Ascendancy & Oddlife if we do get any).

He played it in New Haven.

I’m here! Not missing a thing. I feel like there’s gonna be at least one deep cut tonight that blows us off our feet. God Is Calling Me Back Home or Elbow or something. Forest Hills has gotten a lot of big names.

(Also I have the same set up from last night: Gizz in the headphones, D&C/Sturgill on my phone. I’m exhausted already!)
