Also very Raw Feel-y, would not be surprised if they → into it from here to close out this section.
You can like and dislike things about the band. The beauty in gizzard is we all have a place within the gizzverse.
idk if I am just drinking the “gizzaid” too hard but I really don’t think they have any true misses with any of their albums
That’s what I mean, it sounds like listening to classic rock radio kinda. Nothing wrong with it just doesn’t get me off like almost all the rest of their stuff does. I like several of the songs besides DB, but that’s the only one I get excited ab seeing live and that’s the one most likely to see bad ass segues like the NoLa Trapdoor or Vegas Hot Water
Exactly!!
I understand that Eyes Like The Sky isn’t for everyone (I happen to love it) but that’s the one that I can see someone pointing to as a miss depending on their perspective.
THROAT WATER
Probably the only album that I’ve given a single listen. I’ll need to throw it in again.
Pitchfork also frowns upon Fishing for Fishies ![]()
Well they’re just incorrect
I’m like that; i can’t name a single Phish or Gizz song or album i seriously seriously dislike. I have songs that annoy me or i don’t enjoy that much but there’s not one song by either of these that you could ever catch me skipping. I figure that’s a good thing
I can name several dozen phish songs I don’t like, 95% of them were written post ‘00.
This is……hot
I’ll see myself out
give it 10,000 spins
ambrose’s dad was so fucking epic!
That shit was crazy
That was sick! Love those synths at the end.
lucky I work outside and can wear headphones most of my work day…that album gets a lot of play middle of summer
I like several of the songs from b741 quite a bit (Rats, Risque, MC, HCC) but they just don’t get me jazzed like their other stuff, especially live. They are the ones I am least excited about every setlist since they mostly are just straightforward songs and the beauty of KG live is in the surprise of how they put a new twist on songs.
I soooo wish Brod could’ve made it to Hollywood Bowl…
