Questions about Suffolk Downs for anyone w/ intel

  1. has the show poster image been released?

  2. I see in The Book (love it! Much obliged to the project makers) that I should get there an hour before Doors to get in poster line. Will the actual merch / poster line be outside the venue? Or does buying a poster mean I’m locked in the venue from Doors to close, and have to carry my poster the whole time?

  3. any pre-show nearby fan hangout spot I should head to?

Sorry for missing this my dude, I was on tour myself. Great show in Boston!

  1. Typically, poster images get released on Jason Galea’s instagram the day of the show (@jj_cool_juice) a few hours before doors.

  2. 95% of the time, you’ll be locked inside the venue with your merch at a venue. Re-entry is generally a thing of the past (at least at the venues Gizz now plays). Suffolk Downs had poster sleeves available, some venues sell/provide poster tubes, and some venues just give 'em to you dry. I have seen maybe one or two venues do poster/merch presales outside the venue before doors and they werent for Gizz.

I bought an adjustable plastic poster tube off Amazon. In addition to storing posters, it stores soft and light things well (jackets, ponchos, merch, etc) and is waterproof. Great for storing random stickers you get at shows (or displaying them).

  1. Suffolk Downs is not in the best area TBH. The meetup was the day before the show and I was hanging with some family the day of the show, so I don"t know where the hot spots were
