Just spent a really frustrating 80 minutes to link from the Gizz e-mails to buy tickets from AXS, and the AXS site blocked or booted me out over a dozen times. Finally tried the help site (long wait, requires separate account/password), and they said to use the app.
So, short version, if the web site is making you tear your hair out, try the AXS app. It was a little slow, but it worked on the first try. You just have to search for the band name, rather than using a link.
I didn’t realize that the shows were GA (well, two separate GA areas), so I thought I was missing out on good seats while waiting through multiple failures.
Can vouch. Was super easy on the app, impossible elsewhere.
Which is crazy because the “bot protection" locked me out of the app on my phone but my desktop version worked just fine… Glad we pay all the service fees for this /s
Was in the process of entering payment info for the Saturday show when my browser window for Friday’s show booted me. Had to remote onto another computer to be able to attempt to pull tix for Saturday. Alls well that ends well though, snagged what I was looking for. Not without some undue stress though.
Dealt with the same BS, but got my 3-day bowl pass!
I went for “bowl” all 3 days, too, because i haz teh old, and am still recovering from foot surgery.
I got booted on first try but was on my work laptop which has a vpn, once I turned that off it was clear sailing. Friends that tried via iPhone were all booted for being “bots”
I love the view from the bowl, I’m too old to really wanna mosh but I love watching the pit so bowl is sick - that’s where I was this year and loved it! Also it’s nice to have a spot to sit before the show and a place to store merch or whatever. Bowl 4 lyfe!
Friday Pit and Saturday Bowl for me.
I hear the sound from up in the bowl leaves something to be desired, however. Due to all the noise limits.
This year I was first maybe 5-10 rows both nights and the sound was excellent FWIW. N1 I was rolling solo so not hard to find a single seat close up.
Am I slightly over-excited about this? Train tickets and hotel reserved already….

Went to this place twice last run, best tacos I’ve had outside of Mexico, if anyone wants to get a fish taco and a tequila shot before the shows, I’ll be there!
Walking distance is great! I didn’t get that close, but at least I’ll be in Queens and within a short bus ride.
That’s what I did last year and it was fine! After the show there’s a ton of places in the area if you do want a drink or bite post rocking out!
