King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Theia / The Silver Cord / Set

When you get inspired by lengthy Donna Summers disco tracks, it might be time to cut back on the drugz. :grimacing: i watched Phish and SCI move into their untz phases of varying lenths and degrees with mixed success…not sure I’m up for that again and everything it can bring with it. I’m open minded though.

find someone who will touch you the way Joey and Cavs touch a blue brick wall :eyes:

This is def going to be their ā€œyou either love it or hate itā€ album among the fans. My prediction is that people will only listen to the radio edits when they’re going through the whole tracklist, but people will really embrace the extended versions as the ā€œrightā€ way to experience the album

Theia: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theia_(planet)

During the formation of the solar system the planet Theia was also taking shape, but Earth crashed into and absorbed it. In proper Gizz fashion, the lyrics seem to claim her soul is in us.

Set:

Essential Egyptian deity who usurped and mutilated his brother Osiris and would later be defeated in revenge.

Are you still listening to this regularly? I can’t say I have every day, but I’ve gone quite a few rounds with these three songs.

Still holding out, just once in my car and once to see the videos. Set is still stuck in my head a bit though.

Listening quite a bit to it in the last couple of days.

Just need to unpause and fullscreen it
and then dance like a demon :smiling_imp:

boogey boogey boogey
