in my humble guitar experience, for those who don’t know, when a pedal is hooked up to all the other pedals and running to the amp out of the guitar, any issues with just one of the pedals will affect the entire chain. when one of the pedals isn’t powered, for example, you won’t hear anything you play. so if one of them is shorting extensively (etc), the only option is to remove it. not sure what stu is gonna do, but hopefully it works out.
