Seen some rumors on both Reddit & Phish.net that Gizz will be hosting a 3-day camp out fest August 15-17, 2025 in Buena Vista, CO at The Meadows where Billy String’s Renewal was just held.

It’s a lot of he-said, she-said right now. Allegedly KG visited the site before Red Rocks, and allegedly the hosts of the site have been courting KG.

There was a county meeting about an event at this location, on the above dates yesterday and the event was approved. The band name wasn’t mentioned but during the meeting they did say one band was headlining all three nights, there would be openers with members from the band, and not many other bands, and they mentioned the band likes to announce events 1-year out - so certainly could be King Gizz!

Also important to note that this is one of the first events Meadow Creek Music is organizing. It’s a new group, venue grounds are owned by a private owner and Bonfire entertainment has been organizing the Billy fests there. Will be interesting to see how everything shakes out.
