Geese from Leg 1

I noticed the Geese sets from leg 1 are up on nugs. Any recommendations from those of you who saw them open? Cameron Winter (and everyone else) seem particularly primed in the Milwaukee & St. Louis shows. Beefheart + Morrison Lizard King vibes. Hope they stay around

i thought the nyc shows were good. :+1:
08.16, 08.17

i had never heard of them before the tour was announced. i must have played a song or two of theirs on spotify that same day. but they must have been unremarkable because i quickly forgot about them. :grimacing:

that said, i thought they were very interesting live!
i saw them 4 shows in a row, starting in new york. and i think the nyc sets were the best of those 4. they teased one gizz song each night, which i thought was cool.

so, you might check out those nyc sets.

Thought they were good when I saw them in Chicago. I just wish they had more than thirty minutes. Felt ridiculously short which stunk because I was really looking forward to more. Didn’t get a Gizz tease at mine and instead got My Own Worst Enemy by Lit :frowning_with_open_mouth:

Thanks @fur_and_eye & @TimelandIsWacky will check out the recs. They have an interesting dynamic it’s almost like the drummer is following the vocals

I fell in love with Geese late last year after the annoucement. 3D Country was somehow my most listened album in 2024, mostly because of the very first strong half of that album. I think it falls off a bit after “Undoer” but thats discussion for another time.

From what I remember, they played almost exclusively 3D Country songs live. I was there from the beginning of tour in DC and they had a HOT start right away. Those kids dont waver. “2122” almost always had a tease in the middle (once “American Idiot” and another time “Head On/Pill”), and I think that was just from DC → BOS leg one (the shows I caught).

Also, since they played mostly 3D Country songs, anything off Projector was notable to me (would have loved a “Rain Dance”).

Trying to pull up nugs here to see if I can pull specific shows but my off grid internet hasnt allowed me to update nugs and its mad… Let me know what shows I should download at the library next lmao.
