You’re in good company! I’m an English teacher and we’ve got another one who works on KGLW.net, too.

You can post your experience as show reviews. We’re also always looking for blog content, so if you’d ever like to write something more substantial for us, just say!

It’s like, my expectations for my first shows were so high, I sorta expected to be disappointed, but then it actually went the other way. As a live band experience, they actually exceeded expectations.

Rock out with that show, bro. I’ll be streaming it!

This was my experience last year. Got into the band in 2017 during the massive album dump. It took until 2023 to make a show between family job and Covid. I did the 3 Rimlicker shows in WA. I had massive expectations and they were so far surpassed, and I’m a vet of 30+ years seeing shows, so it takes a lot to blow me away. This band is doing things on a level that I’ve only seen a few acts reach. It’s special. Cherish it and let’s hope it can last a looong time.

Boston was my 20th show. Tour may get exhausting sometimes but the shows never get old. I always meet so many amazing people. My friends ask me how I can see the same band so many times and honestly, I keep coming back for the vibes and positive energy (and for the pipe dream of hearing Vegemite live). It’s really indescribable until you get out there and experience it.

Dude, I have composed long-form writing (over 10,000 words) that I would like to contribute to the Blog. I should probably give it an additional, final once-over tomorrow, but please let me know how to go about sharing it here. Thanks.

Also, I’m not sure of the best way to do it, technically, but I could include some pics and short vid that I snapped at the shows–including what I described above of Stu crowd surfing right towards me with an inflatable dinosaur bouncing behind him. It’s pretty fantastic.

This sounds like something we’d like to publish. Please send it to us at team@kglw.net. Include photos if you can.

Looking forward to reading this ! Thanks to all who do what they do for this site !

I composed it in GoogleDocs and I’m now trying to embed photos / video from my phone (I’m not the most tech-savvy dude). Will email as an anyone-can-view google doc link later today. Let me know if I should share it in a different fashion / medium.

I literally wrote it with readers of this website, as well as my friends, as the intended audience. It’s highly self-indulgent personal narrative about my music fandom and my KGLW journey. It is rated R for language (kinda like the boys’ language in concert) but otherwise I don’t think there is anything objectionable within it. I am eager to share it later today… just in time for the school year to start (when I can’t spend time on personal projects like this!). Cheers.

Sent. Photos were successfully added but not the video–I can’t seem to get my iPhone to share video into a GoogleDoc. Attached the vid to the email. Am happy to work with you (or anybody) to make that successful.

Thanks, Wheels! I’ll get this shared with our editorial team ASAP. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can, though I’m headed to the show tomorrow night so there might be a bit of a delay.

word. I’m tempted to share the link with all my friends right now… but want to wait to force them to have to give this page the clicks! :>).

All good. I know the writing / editing process takes time.

Just from reading this enthusiastic post, I knew you were my show neighbor from Portland. This is my first time using this forum, hopefully this posts.

Jan!! Sure is, brother. You and Eve are in the narrative.

I hope you will enjoy my writing. Hell, I just hope anyone finishes it. It is… long.
