Family summer trip to CO is in the books again for FOV II!
Still can’t believe my wife liked it enough to want to do it again. I am lucky.

Great lineup so far. I listened to all the bands announced so far, and they are really all pretty good in their own right. I like all of them, also some comparatively young bands. Will be a blast. I’ll stay up all night again and watch all the gigs.

Also got an AirBnB last year, loved it. This year I got a hotel at The Inn which is literally adjacent to the shuttle pickup. Camping seems awesome, and if I could drive and bring my whole camping setup I’d do it but flying in it’s so much nicer to just travel with a small carry on!
Anyone have recommendations for lodging in the area? I’ve been trying to organize a road trip with my mates, but I don’t think the camping is a viable option for us. Gonna keep looking at AirBnB options but sheesh 
This may be too close to the on-site camping experience that is a no-go for you, but there are campground type places in BV that have yurts and small cabins. Arrowhead in particular looks like it would not break the bank, if that’s your thing.

I hope you FOVers enjoy the La Luz set – I’m a big fan, and they’re great live. IIRC, Spacemoth is their synth player/producer. I’m really sorry to miss this, but only NYC is going to work for me this year.

Saw La Luz at this cool venue called The Chapel in SF last year, really fun show! I think they’ll really fit in well with the vibe!

Have you sold the ticket yet, Id be interested.
Just wanted to provide a PSA on the Bustang bus for anyone thinking about using it. The Bustang is a great and affordable way to get to BV, but it is a first come first served situation. Buying a ticket does not guarantee you a seat on the bus. A bunch of folks last year were not able to get on the monday morning Bustang out of BV because it filled up, and then no one was able to get on from any of the stops from BV to Denver.
A lot of folks last year somehow bought tickets through the Amtrak site thinking they had reserved seats. I bought mine through the Bustang site which warns you, and my family who lives local also warned me.
