Ah I forgot to say what the intended point of this thread is:
What I wanted to get a feeling for from the users of this forum on using federated (FOSS) services as opposed to Paradise (==Walled Gardens) for your social media needs?
Of course also feel free to link to your handles if you want to be seen by the
