Interesting to note “JOJAM” and “LUSEQ” do not appear – perhaps supporting the notion that these are fragments of synth table songs yet to be released or perhaps just some fun sequences from band practice that they felt like bringing into the live show jams.
Sweet jesus just look at those song lengths from Manchester.
1.Theia (Live in Manchester '25) 21:26
2.Hot Water (Live in Manchester '25) 19:27
3.Flamethrower (Live in Manchester '25) 08:37
4.Magenta Mountain (Live in Manchester '25) 20:26
5.Slow Jam I (Live in Manchester '25) 14:21
6.Hell’s Itch (Live in Manchester '25) 24:59
7.Swan Song (Live in Manchester '25) 26:30
8.Murder of the Universe (Live in Manchester '25) 13:38
Wonder if any of the other shows can hang with this one in terms of total jamming time…
Is there any consensus on top shows from euro tour?
personally Manchester, back end of Brixton N2, Berlin, and probably one of the final 3 shows are tops.
IMO Kepler 22b has been the breakout tune. That one was good for quite a ride every time. Swan Song really seemed to stand out too; they seem to really enjoy jamming on that one.
Definitely curious what has stood out to others. The reaction across the board seems to have been positive for myriad reasons instead of everyone clustering around a few moments.
I think TSC in Sweden will be the longest… I think it’ll be 30mins+ hope we see soon!
Attendance bias puts Sweden at the top of my list (I did the last two shows), but I also thought Prague was insanely good. But I’ve gotta give them all a re-listen to decide!
Noticing that the abandoned attempt at Superposition during Brixton night 1 was just lumped into the end of Gilgamesh on the bootlegs. Understandable.
Interesting to see where a lot of the tracks have been broken apart. With all the jamming in combination with electronic arrangement debuts it was hard to tell when one thing started and another ended.
The drum solo/jam between Goblin and Smoke & Mirrors from Brixton 2 was tracked at the end of Goblin. Personal preference I kinda wish they (Stu?) would have tacked it onto the beginning of Smoke and Mirrors, it would seem to feel a bit better there.
edit – after listening to the drums jam into S&M, it really is a shame it was tracked the way it was. That little jam really gets going. It should have gotten its own track. It deserves better – free the drum solo from the clutches of the Garden Goblin and that contemptuous face of his!
FuzzClub dropped vinyl releases of the new Euro Raves!
I timed it at 28:09.
You timed it after “Maddi Jam”? I wonder if that will count as a separate song on bootlegger since JOJAM wasn’t.
Yeah, since the Maddie Jam was listed on the written setlist we have it separate. Would be about 35 min. if they were combined.
Couldn’t agree more. Definitely thought Smoke & Mirrors started with the drums. Does Stu really do the track listing?
Vienna has dropped.
IIRC the stream crapped out at the beginning of this 30+min The Silver Cord – check it out!
do we have any idea when the raves will be hitting tidal?
32+ min TSC, that’s insane! Got it loaded up on my phone for my road trip down to The Beacon this weekend!
Nope, but they’re all (except the scandinvian shows) up free on Bandcamp now.
Wonder if those final two shows will also get the ‘Mixed by Stu Mackenzie’ treatment like Vienna did.
Copenhagen is up!
Looks like ‘drums’ got appended to the end of Blue Morpho, while the Maddie Jam lands as the intro to Set.
Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating the US holiday today!
Sweden just got added to the bootlegger along with the new Mango Sticky Rice album!
