Did anyone stateside happen to pick up an extra of the new Bullant on vinyl? Still not sure why I hesitated. Streamed it today and it’s super cool. One track sounded like something off Zappa’s Jazz from Hell! Anyway, right, looking for a sanely priced copy.
Don’t have the budget for extras these days, but I’m glad I got one copy because I did the exact same thing as you for the debut haha, biggest Flightless release I’m missing I think. Good luck! This one at least isn’t Flightless Records exclusive, and PHC reissued Cavs, so I hope this will be similar.
But yeah, really enjoying it too.
Found a copy for $42 online from a record shop a few hours away.
Yeah, Tyson Crying and Young Blindness are both in dire need of a repress. What’s the deal with Flightless these days?

I really don’t know, people like to speculate that the label ‘died’, but it seems to me more that Eric just doesn’t want/need to try as hard as he used to when King Gizz were on the label. Like the main act they’re promoting these days (Eggy) is his brother’s band, and they just finished a rather long Europe tour of tiny shows that Eric joined them for. I think he’s just living his best life.
I’m going to see their other newer band (The Slingers) this weekend, so I’m curious how that will be presented/if they have Flightless merch available.
Interesting. I see that The Slingers’ (no relation? haha) music is for sale on the Flightless site, but all other products remain “sold out.” Did Leah Senior mention who would be releasing the new music that she announced?
Haha nah no family relation. Leah’s album is out already! Its on Poison City, a moderately sized independent label from Melbourne that are a bit more standard-fare than Flightless was at its peak. Its easily one of my favourite releases this year so far.
Back to Electronic stuff. Youtube recommended me this once and I think its one of the better Aphex Twin imitations I’ve heard:
