Billy Failing is Billy Strings’ Banjo player… doing a free show the day after FoV at the Dillon Amp (Halfway between BV and Denver), last year King Stingray did a free show here. Good sign Billy may be at FoV!

Man, the phish fans are bad enough, but the derelicts from the Billy Strings fandom showing up at shows are going to be a real bummer. Don’t they already have enough places to neglect their children while doing face drugs?

I don’t have accounts those places. Maybe Billy should cultivate a better audience. I would prefer not to see Gizz’s shows over run by hippies doing hard drugs. That would be truly negative.
This negativity has no place here. Create the community you want to see, we don’t need to hate on other fan bases for no reason. If you don’t like Billy or his fans that’s totally fine, hit ignore on this thread.
There is plenty of reason to be critical of aspects of Billy’s audience. I have seen it first hand. It is not a positive to ignore the impending influx of derelicts looking for another place to party. That is part of shaping a “community", by making it inhospitable to elements who cannot demonstrate mutual restraint. I don’t see it as a positive to simply accept a portion of the audience will be a pestilence who leaves devastation in their wake.
You being mean in this thread isn’t changing anything. Being inhospitable to music fans isn’t what Gizz is about, nor Billy. It sounds to me like you are very focused on negativity for no reason.
but, thanks for being honest, I’ll ignore your posts going forward. We should be creating a welcoming and inclusive community here, not one based on hate and stereotypes as you are doing.
