That’s the thing with modular synths, they are (or just can be?) analogue.

I really like Level 5 from first listen, but Alien Metal didn’t quite grab me. Most likely it will grow on me. One thing I noticed was that the 2 songs segue very well and loop from beginning to end seamlessly when on repeat (at least on Deezer). I was taking care of some tasks and had it on and it didn’t occur to me for about 30 minutes that I was listening to the same 2 songs over and over again lol. Anyway, looking forward to the album!

Eurorack modules can actually be both!
Back in the 1970s and into the early 80s they were all analog, but nowadays some modules are often digital signal processors (DSPs) that use analog/digital converters on the input signals, process the signal computationally in the digital space, and then convert back to analog and send that to the outputs. Basically a tiny computer with analog inputs and outputs.
