But dang – I’m supposed to be on a train back to our friend’s place in Connecticut by the time this happens, and then heading home the next morning. Not sure if I can make this work.

I think you and MANY other people will be in the same boat, I know a lot of people were waiting to book travel tix in case something was added, but I can’t imagine with this being 6 weeks out that many people don’t have something lined up.
Luckily I’m driving so if this is actually a 5:30PM show it will probably be over by 10PM, so it’ll be a long ass late night drive but fuck it, I’ll be there.

I wonder what the difference will be between this and the Saturday-night “rave set” at FH. Complete speculation, but maybe a Nathan-based “hybrid” show on Saturday, and more new-techno stuff on Sunday?

Honestly… that is an excellent guess! I was kinda assuming they’d just be two normal raves like they did in Europe last fall, but maybe this new show will be debuting new electronic stuff!

i gave up on social media a while back, so my only real connection to gizz news is here and p(doom).
so, there was a panic moment in my house this morning when my wife saw the new show listed on kglw.net and we hadn’t heard anything about it.

AXS is so fucked for some reason today. Blocking both my phone and computer thinking I’m a bot both on wifi and 5G… did get to the front of the line and kicked me out.

The Forest Hills rave show opener – Moktar – is also 100% worth checking out. I enjoyed a lot of his stuff as well.
