Oh man we have more time…
One day, they’ll do an encore again
i kinda love that they dont do encores tbh. the shows feel better to me going out on a big strong finale and leaving it at that without the pageantry, and i like the routine so far this tour of giving away all the stuff and making it super clear they aint coming back for one more song
Grim Reaper, Swan Song and Extinction were meant to be played after Witchcraft based on the printed set
Damn. Reaper
Good ripping set tonight.
I actually was planning a last minute trip up there for the show but decided not to, mostly because the streams have been so fulfilling.
Don’t understand why they don’t play up to curfew. It was 10p. Especially after losing 20 mins to weather. At least we have another tomorrow
Probably because dragging out the table in that rain would have killed it, so they skipped it and moved on with the set.
feeling a possible Reaper>SS>Ext opener for Vancouver
Watching that was badass!!
Gave me Rimlicker vibes
Oh yeah def understand that audible but they could have dropped a head on at the end (they had 20 mins) and played us out. That would have been some epic gizz and sealed the deal with this show imo
Just got home from the set. It was unbelievably wet. I live in Oregon and I don’t think I’ve stood in rain that hard in a long time. Unfortunately the right call to take the break… Super bummed to miss the table, and I always love grim reaper.
The Drippiest Tap absolutely ruled though - we were calling it the Big Dripper. Very much felt like someone was holding a hose over our head the whole time.
Energy and the show overall was great, venue did their best but even this level of rain is abnormal.
in the setlist, maybe it should be noted Sad Pilot wasn’t on the setlist but Reaper, Swansong, Extinction was? also I think the “i’m in your mind tease at the end of dripping tap” was actually the Streets of Cairo/Not in your mind thing. I might have referred to it as a not in your mind tease during the show but others correctly pointed out Streets of Cairo.
I felt drenched just watching the stream. So far not regretting swapping out Portland, Vancouver and Gorge shows for Detroit, Cleveland, Newport and Chicago. I probably would of survived the show in a poncho, but that drive today to Vancouver would be tough, and then knowing you have traffic issues facing you on way to the Gorge is also rough.
