Wow. Just listened to all of those for the first time today during work. I’d been saving them until I got through all of the studio and official live stuff.
I just wish they would mix it up more instead of ditching it. Get some Melting, Hungry Wolf, Ontology, INNTW going. All the stuff they never play.

I just view it as part of their creative journey and when they’re ready they’ll come back and do some more super cool stuff with it! time is too long to ditch it forever

Lava is F Lydian and Lung is A Aeolian (minor). Both of these modes are in the key of C. I wasn’t listening but this is more than likely a coincidence
