Gilgamesh opener is cool. I’m reading this book Is a River Alive? and the story of Gilgamesh plays a role in the narrative of this guy who is a protector of a cloud forest in Ecuador. I really need to actually read Gilgamesh. Has anyone?
I’ve read Gilgamesh, it’s definitely worth reading, especially with new sections recovered & published. Ancient epics are wild & the Assyrian/Babylonian ones especially so.
