I actually really like the chill and fun vibes of Mycelium. Predator X is maybe one of their weakest heavy tracks; it’s just kind of uninteresting for me. Not terrible, just not great.

I really dig the repetitive grind of Predator X. Understand that not many might be into that; but i’m a sucker for that kind of thing. Like, I listen to early Swans and shit, lol

Predator X only grew on me after a few live shows. There’s an energy to the repetition that is cool, it’s hard to describe. Album version is whatever.

Mycelium is one of my fav Gizz songs but I think this all speaks to how diverse this band is, able to put out enough material where so little is objectively bad or uninteresting, just appeals to different tastes across the board.
