Now that’s a tour opener!
Killer
Stupid good
Who is getting shaved tomorrow?
Very sick first show! We are back!
drums → self immolate → feedback… theyre late 60s dead
Killer stuff. Solid setlist, amazing jams!! A lot to revisit.
Think the highlight was that Antarctica earlier but there’s a lot of good jams here. Some new directions we didn’t hear last tour. Very intriguing.
Imagine We Bid You Goodnight with Stu distorted ooohs lollll
The best kind IMO
Not a terrible take at all
Dick’s Picks 22 is not to be missed, insane how amazing they already were in 2/68
I was gonna say they are in 73-74 (old Deadhead, that’s always my North Star).
I’d definitely jump to 71-74 for “golden years” as well
DB>FOV was the hotness. Fun show for sure but def felt like a pretty consistent (heavy!) vibe all the way thru besides slow jam. Even Ice V was louder than usual. To be honest, the sound in the room wasn’t the best I’ve heard, Cavs and Lucas were way louder than the guitars a lot of time.
Guessing Night 2 brings a bit more genre variety, and hopefully some Poly material even though they played the whole first side the last time they were in Lisbon. So I’ll go ahead and call Horology Suite for tommorrow.
Wonder if for these 3 night runs Nathan will only be making a single extended appearance. The stage was pretty small, there looked to be barely enough room to wheel him out between the drum riser and either cookie or amby’s keyboards. So maybe they open with 45 minutes of EDM tommorrow or Tuesday which I’m perfectly ok with.
Relistening to a few songs from the show and I’m pretty sure Boogieman Sam has a tease of Let There Be Rock by AC/DC, specifically the start of the solo from Let There Be Rock.
