Oh man I saw House if Pain on waaaaaay too many bills back in their 90’s prime.
I loved the Beastie Boys shout out in Brooklyn. When your current favorite band acknowledges your old favorite band! So much fun.

Great 7 shows in 10 days. Loved streaming most of them. The table playing has leveled up.

Onward to October!

This is a tangent:
The vibe is real across timespace.
I live by a fairgrounds that all summer bumps awesome Latino concerts. It permeates the neighborhood on Sunday afternoons, so good. But just now this Latin party band went all synthy electro. Wild and exciting. Never heard anything this ravey coming from that venue. I’m stoked to have this as an aftershow.

I should have just stayed for the show, missed my connection flight to Boise and they just gave me a hotel. So didn’t even make it home

The show was so hype it kept me amped for my whole 5.5hr drive home… got home at 4am and somehow made it to work today on time(ish).

Another RAGING RAVE!! Loved it!! :crocodile:

Aw, sorry to hear that Gerry. That’s a bummer. You should see an extra show next time they tour to make up for it.

So do we have a recording of Stu’s opening set from yesterday? I can’t find one

Was talking with someone who taped it… they’ll surface at some point soon for sure.

(Personally I thought it was much more engaging than his recent sets in Melbourne but that’s probably just the there-in-person factor talking)

But did they have speakers coming at you from in front AND behind, like at The Castle?

Sadly I missed the FoV Stu surround sound set!

The sound system at K Bridge was certainly loud enough that echoes off the back of the venue could have been their own system though!
