i think all their songs kinda just sound the same. even if they are technically very skilled (which is true), that doesn’t make the music interesting to me. no hate against them i just find it ok

These guys are playing Riot Fest. I was already thinking of going because Sugar is playing but now I think I need to get those tickets.
Die Spitz would be up there, too, if they could have played. I saw them live this year and in terms of energy they’d probably outdone everyone else, even Upchuck.

Let’s get some predictions rolling.
I’m honestly having a hard time thinking about what’s coming. Robot Stop > Big Fig Wasp is a really good guess. At least one Alien Metal tune seems likely. Open Water? Mirage City? Crumbling Castle > Fourth Colour? Maybe something really old like Cut-Throat Boogie or Sea of Trees?

My guess is no repeats but we get table versions of songs played not on the table last year and vice versa to techincally not break that rule since they can be pretty different. (E.g. table slow jam) I think we get level 5 tonight since it was the lead single and maybe kill for the steal leading up into it. Metal probably something like self immolate, organ farmer, predator x. I also think we might get another rock version of a silver cord song to fill out the metal pool a bit.i think we get a microtonal bust out my safe guess is ataraxia or east west link since they were played in 24. I would like a melting or hungry wolf of fate though. Im also calling a book and open water.

Love it. Was heartbroken when they cancelled in January.
I first became a fan in late 79 when that was their “new” release. I was pretty confused. Much like my first Gizz show.

Thats so cool!! I still need to see gizz in person even though ive been listening to them on and off since 2017 (fmb and MOTU were what introduced me to the band) got back into them properly last year through the european residency streams which has been really good as i cant get to many gigs anymore due to disability so its great to experience it live!! Ill go see them for sure next time they play near me though. Hoping for europe tour next year
