This is modern punk at its most distilled: a guitar, kit, bass, and a live performance so drunk they admitted they would “probably miss half the notes"

Smoko (or as my partner calls it, “I Want a Snow Cone”) the obvious breakout hit but 6L GTR, Struck By Lightning, and The Price of Smokes are some stand outs from 2022’s ‘Get Fucked’. Just good, muddy fun these guys.

I am always listening to punk and hardcore. I am sure there is some overlap with Osees fans here and I have been very happy with their recent punk era.

Some bands that still get regular listening from me is Rudimentary Peni, Crass, Born Again$t, Poison Idea, Bikini Kill, Infest, Rorschach, GO!, Spazz, Assuck, Circus Lupus, fIREHOSE, Doom, Man Is The Bastard, Hiatus, Gauze, Negative Approach, on and on.

I dunno if Oh Sees count as punk but I just snagged a couple tix to see them at the Caverns next summer and visit a friend who lives in the area. Very excited.

I mainly listen to punk, mainly I have been listening to Harcore era DEVO, Cherry Cheeks, Metrics, Amyl and the Sniffers, Andrew Jackson Jiihad, Grey Matter, Nirvana, Cool Sorcery, Hitmen, Cows, satanic togas, Jesus Lizard and isthmatic guru!

I highly recommend With Love, Maggie by Cool Sorcery! Its an excellent record, its reminds me a lot of early King Gizzard, but they still have their own thing going on!

Also, Cherry Cheeks is awesome! They are an Egg Punk act, and I know a lot of those guys are hit or miss, these guys are pretty good!

I highly recommend checking out the Syf Records bandcamp page if you guys want to keep up with the current Egg Punk scene. A lot of it can be hit or miss, but thats how I found With Love, Maggie and plus, most of the stuff there is Name your Price, so its not like its an investment unless you dig it. Most of it is very brown, so if you are into that kinda sound you can at least have some fun going through a lot of them.

I bet you would like Buio Omega, they are a lot of fun.

I am looking forward to seeing Stress Positions in a month or so.
